Ayodhya is the birthplace of Maryada Purushotum Jay Shree Ram. It was Former Capital of Avadh. This city is situated on the banks of the river Sarayu of Uttar Pradesh (The Indian State). It was historically known as Saketa. On 22 January 2024, Ayodhya Temple was inaugurated after a pran pratishtha ceremony.
